What equipment/setup do I use?
The zoom sessions are generally streamed live from my own home so availability depends on when the house is free. I use a laptop connected to my internet router via a wired cable to keep the stream as stable as possible. A tripod is used with my separate HD 1080p webcam which can be moved and adjusted for the best angle to show the poses. A powerful video light is also used on a tripod which has adjustable controls for power and light temperature along with barn flaps which all help control the light in various ways.
It is possible I could do the Zoom sessions from other venues, but this mainly relies on a reliable internet connection at that place.
I also have the paid Pro version of Zoom which provides more advantages over the basic free version (so it does not have a 40 minute restriction).
What do I need to for a untutored Zoom nude online figure drawing session?
Age
Participants should be 18 years and over (16+ if supervised with a parent/adult)
Art Supplies
You can use whatever you have to hand and feel comfortable using, whether its just a pencil, charcoal or even paints. Just make sure you have something sturdy like a board or table or even easel if you have one, to place your paper on and work. As these are untutored sessions,
A Good Internet Connection
The better internet connection for your device (mobile phone or laptop or pc) the better. If you are at home, then using Wi-Fi rather than your mobile data maybe more stable and faster (for optimal connectivity, you could even use a network cable to connect your pc/laptop straight to your router if not already done that way). If you have several devices to choose from, maybe the one with biggest screen may give you the best results to see and draw from the figure.
What to expect
After getting in contact with me and agreeing a date/time for the session. A payment link will be sent to you which can be paid via bank transfer/PayPal/debit card and once payment is received you will receive a zoom invite via email (usually the day before). This will contain your zoom link to allow you access along with a unique password. Ideally download the Zoom app for your device but you can also connect via your web browser. I will be online a few minutes before the session starts and to make sure everyone/or yourself are ready and connected for the start.
A few minutes just for any introductions and a reminder of times of the poses and if there will be a short break (depends on the length of the session). Poses will then start and a timer will be set for the duration of the pose(s). At the end of the session it is entirely up to you whether to show your own images to the rest of the group (or to just me if it is a 1:1) but this completely up to you either way.
Costs
Prices depend on the length of the session and also if it is a group session or a 1:1
1:1 or small group of you all in the same room – £20 per hour (min 2 hours)
Themed/Traditional Sessions available for everyone to join and book (zoom max of 100 participants) – £10 per person approx (maybe cheaper).

What an absolute blast, life drawing today at the @bedruthanhotel in Newquay for a pre wedding event of 18 ladies. They were all so much fun and lots of creative/fun sketches.
